At Anglesey Môn Distillery, we take pride in our craft spirits. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our returns policy complies with UK consumer protection laws to ensure you have a fair and transparent experience.
1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods.
Notification: You must inform us of your decision to cancel within this 14-day period by contacting us via email.
Returning the Item: You then have a further 14 days from the date you notified us to return the goods.
Condition: Items must be returned unopened, sealed, and in their original condition.
Important: For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of unsealed bottles unless the item is faulty.
Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked service (e.g., Royal Mail or a courier) as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds: Once we receive the returned items and inspect them, we will process your refund (including the standard delivery cost paid) within 14 days.
2. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, you are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Damaged on Arrival: Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If the bottle is broken or leaked, please take clear photos of the damage (including packaging) and contact us right away.
Right to Reject: If an item is faulty or misdescribed, you have the right to reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.
Return Costs: For damaged, faulty, or incorrect items, we will cover the reasonable cost of return postage or arrange a collection.
3. Exceptions
Please note that the following cannot be returned if you simply change your mind:
Unsealed Goods: Spirits or beverages where the seal has been broken after delivery.
Perishable Goods: Items with a short shelf life (if applicable).
Personalised Items: Any bottles or merchandise that have been customised or engraved specifically for you.
4. How to Return an Item
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Email our team at sales@angleseymondistillery.com with your:
Order Number
Name
Reason for return (and photos if damaged)
Await Instruction: We will provide you with the correct return address and instructions.
Pack Securely: Please package the bottle(s) securely (ideally in the original packaging) to prevent breakage.
Send It Back: Post the item to the address below (or the one provided in our email):

5. Refunds
Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. Please allow a few working days for your bank or card issuer to process the transaction after we have initiated the refund.
